Internet help please!

Internet not working on my old Acer laptop. Everything else at home is working fine iphones, fire TV.Just not this laptop. Have powered router off and on

Please help!!

What antivirus is running on the laptop? Sometimes security software can cause issues connecting.

One thing you might want to try is resetting the network troubleshooter:

Click Start > Settings > Network and Internet.

Scroll down to ‘Network troubleshooter’ and follow the on screen prompts.

If this doesn’t work, on the same page there is a link to do a ‘Network reset’. This often fixes internet issues.

Tried this. Did not work at first! Restarted the laptop and the router at same time out of desperation and it seems working so far so thank you.
