I’m looking at getting an alarm system for my small flat. The yale alarms seem a little cheaper and are internet connected but I already have a ring doorbell. Any experience with either?

Hey @Cal89

I might be a bit biased but I’ve recently installed a Ring alarm myself and so far so good. Very easy to set up and use and no false alarms yet.

I don’t have much experience with Yale alarm products myself but I would say if you already have a Ring doorbell you’ll benefit from having only one app for all of your security systems and cameras, and you can integrate the two which may not be possible with Yale.

Do come back and us know what system you go for!

Thanks sounds good, yeah think I'm looking towards the ring alarm. But what about simpli safe does that compare well?

I believe overall Simplisafe would come out more expensive and I’ve seen a few things online saying allegedly that it’s relatively easy to jam and render virtually useless if someone is determined enough to break in.
