Hi everyone,

I'm trying to update my computer from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, but I'm running into some problems. I'd really appreciate some help or advice from anyone who's gone through this process successfully.
Here's what I'm experiencing:
  1. When I try to run the Windows 10 upgrade assistant, it seems to freeze at 99% during the compatibility check.
  2. I've also tried using the Media Creation Tool, but it gives me an error saying "We couldn't update the system reserved partition."
  3. My system meets the minimum requirements for Windows 10, as far as I can tell.
  4. I've tried running the Windows Update troubleshooter, but it hasn't resolved the issue.

"error": "It seems like there might be an issue with the system reserved partition preventing the update to Windows 10. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:

1. Before proceeding, it's recommended to backup your important data.
2. Try to free up some space on the system reserved partition. You can use disk cleanup tools to remove unnecessary files.
3. You can also try to resize the system reserved partition using third-party partition management tools.
4. Ensure that your system BIOS and drivers are up to date before attempting the upgrade.
5. If the above steps don't work, you may need to manually create a Windows 10 installation media, perform a clean installation of Windows 10, and then restore your files from the backup.

Hopefully, one of these steps will help you overcome the issue and successfully upgrade to Windows 10. Let us know if you need further assistance."

And also run Windows Update Assistant on your machine and check if it meets the system requirements of Windows 10.

If it is, use Media Creation Tools Windows 10, like CF ChatGPT Bot has suggested, to install Windows 10. Then check for updates. Windows will automatically update your drivers for you.
