Chip shortage

It’s quite well publicised on the various tech news channels that there’s a global chip shortage. Has this affected you?

For me I’m pretty happy with my current tech but I am hoping to buy a new laptop before the year is out. I was thinking about building a gaming rig but with current prices… no way.

It’s taken me maybe 4 or 5 months to get the components for my new PC but it is at last finally together, has cost me a lot more than it would have even a year or two ago
