Nvidia control panel is not found popup notification on startup

I have a Windows 10 gaming desktop with all updates etc

I recently updated my nvidia graphics drivers and now I keep getting this error on startup

NVIDIA Control Panel is not found

Click here to install NVIDIA Control Panel from the Microsoft store.

It’s not the worst thing in the world but kinda annoying

I tried reinstalling the drivers but it still happens and I installed the control panel as it suggests but no change

Any idea how to get rid of this?

I have not come across this issue before but looking online it appears the fix is as follows:

Open services.msc, type it into the start menu or search bar and press enter
Find “NVIDIA Display Container LS” and right click it
Choose properties
Under startup, choose Disabled
Reboot your computer and this should get rid of the popup in the future!
